Welcome Bag Paper

Picture
In our welcome bags we are going to have a welcome letter saying thank you for coming and giving a run down of the weekend events, A do not disturb sign but instead it says "Oh No! We missed each other! and then gives different location possibilities, a guest directory (gives the guest's name and their room number), and then every day we are going to fill out a daily newsletter that gives everyone an idea of the weather, planned events, and what we (Zach and I) are going to be doing for the day. Most of the templates I found for these are at marthastewartweddings.com. I had to copy them and put them in a word format which was such a pain in the ass! I couldn't figure out how to change the font color to purple and change the format to be relelvant to our wedding in the pdf form they gave the template in. I attached the word files I created so If anyone else likes it they don't have to go through the process of copying it into a word doc in order to change certain things. I also want to add in a photo share card.

Passport booklets - To go in the Welcome Bags

These have been done by a ton of other knotties. These outlines and covers I found from www.thestylishscribe.com. I love them and they are really reasonably priced, starting at $3.50 each. I really love the first cover but I want it to say Passport to paradise with our names date and location. In the inside I would like to have it resemble a regular passport (far right picture on the top row) with our picture and the stats, day, time, location, etc... I would also like it to have a general timeline Like first picture in the second row. Included in the passport I think it would be great if we could have a map included of the island and the resort (on the resort map marking important areas like ceremony spot, reception spot, rehearsal dinner, welcome dinner, and next day brunch). Also giving a day-of our wedding timeline for guests.

Message in a Bottle Invites

Picture
www.MyPerosnalArtist.com
So I LOVE message in a bottle invites. These pictures are from various websites (check out the captions, if I remember where I got them from I put it there) I would love the invites themselves to have a beach scene on the top and then words following. I would like them on paper that looks like "natural" the tan color with burnt edges. I would like the invites to be rolled up and tied with raffia and put in a bottle with sand and white small seashells and then corked. I also found these REALLY cute treasure maps that can be customized to your location. So we want to get custom St. Lucia maps and roll them up inside the invites. Also we would either like to get the labels put on them or get them engraved.

Thank You's

Picture
I really want to do a photo collage with a thank you note hand-written on the bank. I would really like to customize each one with individual pictures of the guest for each thank you note, but I wouldn't even know how to begin doing something like that and everyone seems to have a minimum order number. It is pointless to purchase 10 Thank you cards if I only need to send 1. This is a version I really liked! I think I was perusing someone else's bio and saw it and saved it...so again if it is yours and you would like credit please let me know!

Welcome Bags

For our welcome bags I found these great bags (thanks to knottie T1nk) that are pictured below! I really love the pink and purple bags. We are going to include the passport to paradise with all kinds of information (see passport section above). We also want to include two postcards for each guest/couple, one for them and one for us to use as a guest book for when we all get back. I want to put them all in a binder as a keepsake. here is a list of the items that will be going into the welcome bags; dramamine, zantac, tums, benadryl, emergen-c, excedrin, off - bug repellant wipes, shout wipes, generic zip-lock bag, wet ones, aloe vera gel, suntan lotion, hand sanitizer, and a travel alarm clock (maybe), all of these items I found REALLY cheap at cheaptravelsizes.com. I'll be able to get everything I need in the quantities I need for under $175.00. Other options we want to add in are underwater cameras, bookmarks, bottled water with our home-made labels on them, beach towels, flip flops, frisbees, maps of the island, playing cards, sand toys for the kids, personalized crossword puzzles, suduko books, snacks (pretzels, granola bars, and juice boxes for the kids), as well as, local favorites like banana ketchup, bottle of rum made locally, and cigars (they allow cubans there so that would be fun).

These are perfect and exactly what I was looking for! They are from www.papermart.com. For a package of 25 they are priced at $23.29, that's less than $1.00 a bag!
