Location, Location, Location no longer applies to just real estate! Both of our families have traveled extensively so to find a place that was new and exciting and somewhere that we both still loved was difficult. St. Lucia was a practical choice since not one of our family members have been there and it had a little bit of everything! From beaches, snorkeling, and scuba diving, to lush rainforests with zip lining 50 feet in the air and drive in (dormant) volcano, St. Lucia is perfect! We also wanted to be in a small remote resort, where we would be the only wedding. After months of searching for the perfect place we narrowed our choices down to a Sandals property and Anse Chastanet/Jade Mountain. I love the exclusion that Anse Chastanet offers and the fact that we will be the ONLY wedding for the week, which means more one on one and individual attention! Also I really liked that Anse Chastanet allows us to completely customize EVERYTHING! At Sandals it was a package that you could pick based on a theme and then that was it. The Sandals property we were looking at also didn't allow children, whereas Anse Chastanet made an exception to their no children under 10 policy for the occasion! We are also including information about other properties located in Soufriere, St. Lucia that are a little bit more budget friendly.

The jury is definitely still out on the photographer. The resort has a photographer but I'm not inlove with his photos. I would prefer to bring in our own but it would be much more expensive. But here is a website of a photographer I am in love with here in the Denver area. www.broxtonart.com
