Welcome Dinner

Picture
Since people will be traveling from Arizona, Colorado, and New York, it will be a long day! two plane rides and an hour long shuttle transport can make for tired guests. I think we are going to do something really short and simple! I think dinner on the beach would be ideal. We were thinking about doing a bar-b-que style or buffet dinner. Something casual where guests can come and go as they please.

Luncheon & Golf Outing

Picture
For the luncheon I was thinking just a short lunch for all the guests who don't want to go on the golf outing. Again, I think just something quick and fun so everyone can get back to enjoying their vacation too! We were going to make it gender segregated but decided to open up to make it more comfortable. For example Zach's mom is a huge golfer and would rather be doing that than sitting at some luncheon. The good thing is that a lot of our family members love golfing so it's perfect! We might decide to not do this based on budgets and the fact that I am thinking about doing our wedding on Friday as opposed to Saturday. We are expecting guests on Wednesday (the welcome dinner) and then Thursday would be the rehearsal dinner and Friday the wedding. Depending on timing we might decide to forget it completely. The main point is that we want our guests to not have to spend every day with us. We want them to be able to enjoy their vacation and their time in St. Lucia.

Rehearsal Dinner

42ft Sailboat Searenity
For our rehearsal dinner we were thinking of doing a sunset cruise on a boat. We are kind of torn between whether or not we will actually do the dinner on the boat or just drinks and appetizers. They have a choice between a 42ft sailboat and a 60ft double decker catamaran. If we aren't going to do dinner on the boat then we will most likely do dinner at the third restaurant called Apsara.

Day After Brunch

Picture
Since I love the beach restaurant I was thinking of doing the Day After Brunch there. It's so open, airy and bright, it's a great venue for a brunch. I love the idea of a next day brunch! It's a great way to end the experience for those who need to get back to work the next day, as well as, a great "Thank you for coming"! I was thinking upscale brunch items like stuffed crepes, eggs benedict, crab cakes and of course bloody mary's and mimosas!
